Who we are
Bridging Loans Somerset is a specialist bridging finance brokerage operating from Somerset, Somerset. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean the brokerage. This page explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you contact us or submit an enquiry through bridgingloanssomerset.co.uk.
Data we collect
When you complete a lead form on this site we collect your name, email address, phone number, the broad shape of your enquiry (loan size, security type, location, intended exit), and any other information you choose to share. We also receive standard server logs including IP address and request metadata. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Lawful basis
We process your data under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries about bridging finance. Where we hold data after the enquiry concludes we do so for legitimate record-keeping purposes consistent with UK financial-services norms.
Third-party processors
We use a small set of processors to operate the site and respond to enquiries:
- Resend: transactional email delivery for enquiry notifications. Resend processes your contact details and the content of your enquiry on our behalf.
- GoHighLevel (GHL): our customer-relationship management (CRM) platform used to record enquiries, route them to the right specialist, and keep correspondence in one place. GHL processes your contact details, enquiry content, and our internal notes.
- Cloudflare: edge content delivery and basic protection against abusive traffic. Cloudflare receives standard server log data on a transient basis.
Each processor operates under its own data-processing agreement with us, with UK GDPR and applicable transfer safeguards in place.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to six years from the most recent contact, consistent with general business-records retention in the UK financial-services context. If you ask us to delete your data earlier we will do so unless a specific legal obligation requires us to retain it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict our processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and request portability of data you have given us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Contact for data requests
For any data-related question, including access, correction, or deletion requests, contact us at hello@bridgingloanssomerset.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
